Ephrata Fair & COVID-19: Cautious but Optimistic
The Ephrata Farmers Day Association announced on Friday, June 5, 2020 that we are still in the process of reviewing all of our options regarding The Ephrata Fair scheduled for September 22-26, 2020. We would appreciate the public's patience as we diligently consider our options that will comply with Governor Wolf’s “Green” phase of the reopening mandate. We will unfortunately be forgoing the Ephrata Fair Parade this year due to logistics and other safety concerns.
As a nonprofit community organization, we want to be a good citizen and comply with Governor Wolf and the mandates he has set forth for the state of Pennsylvania and Lancaster county due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have a great concern for the safety and health of our volunteers, exhibitors, concessionaires and the entire community. Therefore, we must carefully consider each option and its effect on everyone involved so that we may provide a safe environment for our event.
We ask you as a community to be patient with us as we work through the logistics associated with each of the possible alternate new ideas for our fair.
So, mark your calendar for Sept 22-26, 2020 and stay tuned. We are remaining optimistic, and this is a work in progress. As details become available, we will post to our Facebook page, our web site and other media outlets.
A Big Thank You to our Sponsors!
