General Information:

Ephrata Fair Midway

The Ephrata Farmers Day Association will engage police, EMS, guards, and traffic directors to protect the safety of the visitors, exhibits, and concessions at the fair. The Association assumes no liability for personal injury or for loss or damage to any property of the exhibitors, concessionaires, or patrons due to theft, fire, vandalism, weather conditions, or other causes.

Handicapped Parking
and Comfort Facilities:

Handicapped parking is available on the West Franklin parking lot, Lake Street
(except parade night), Susquehanna Bank, and the Ephrata National Bank (after banking hours). Portable toilets will be located at various locations convenient to the midway and Tent City. A handicapped portable toilet and a baby changing station will be located on the south side of the Fair building.  Accommodations for nursing mothers and children needing diaper changes is located at the Service and Information Station on the midway across the street from Washington Avenue.  The Ephrata Area Churches will staff the building.

Tent City and Shuttle Bus:Older Adults Take Advantage of the Shuttle Bus

Tent City in the Ephrata Tom Grater Park features agricultural and commercial exhibits. These exhibits include livestock, grain, scarecrows, and numerous contests. Delicious food is available at the Ephrata Area Young Farmers Association's refreshment stand from Tuesday through Friday evening.

A free shuttle bus will be provided from uptown at the corner of Arch Street and W. Main Street to Tent City on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The pick up spot at Tent City will be the corner of Vine and King Sts. by the swimming pool.

On Wednesday the bus will run from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.  The bus stop will be at the Ephrata Borough Building with an additional stop at Cornerstone Mennonite Church on Oak Street.  Free parking for Senior Citizens attending Senior Day is available at the Church.

Emergency Medical Help & First Aid:

Ephrata Ambulance Association will staff a first aid station and have an ambulance located in the parking lot adjacent to the Brossman Business Complex. In the event of an emergency, please go to this location or the Fair office.

Ephrata Borough Ordinance restricting animals on the Midway:

Ephrata Borough has an ordinance prohibiting animals on the midway of the Ephrata Fair. No person shall have an animal on the midway, including the Railroad Station parking lot, of the Ephrata Fair from 7 A.M. Tuesday until 12 midnight Saturday. This ordinance does not apply to animals which assist the handicapped. Any person found guilty of violating this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not more than $600.00
